Warrens Development Continuing

IMG_8510(2)One of the fastest growing business hubs in Barbados appears to be continuing on its expected trend of increased development. This comes with two new high rise buildings now well under way for the highly popular commercial and shopping centre. Moreover there is another high-rise building on the cards for the area which is also set to bring more office space to the already well populated business area.

Warrens has become well-known for attracting big money investment in both the offshore and onshore sectors and is about to step into even more business with high-story buildings set for completion in the near future. Currently under construction is the new NIS construct which will bring a multi-storey facility with other office space.

In the heart of the area, another high-rise building which could rival the height of the CGI Tower, is just about to start major construction.

Word from the Town and Country Planning office is that there is yet another site on the cards near the Warrens Polyclinic set to also house more offices. However this project has not yet started construction.

In 2008, the Government’s multi-purpose office complex was finally opened and that has also brought increased activity in the area.

It has been hinted by government officials that other commercial development is in store for the area.

images-1These upcoming buildings will blend well with what already exists in the area. These buildings would join other Warrens high-rises, such as the seven-storey CGI Towers and the five-storey Warrens Office complex.

These new buildings hold the words of Warrens developers a few years ago as true as they predicted that the hub would see even more development in the form of high-rise buildings.
