caribbean-property-magazine-banner-picWhile the real estate sector across the world is operating amid a slump, the Caribbean real estate sector could soon expect to ride a wave of increased exposure from the UK source market. This expected boost will come from the high-end segment of the market with the launch of the Caribbean Property Investor Magazine in March 2010.

News of the launch of the new publication was released at the end of October by the firm responsible for the publication, Caribbean Marketing Company a London-based firm. St Lucian founder, Walter Zephirin, said that the publication will try to build on the increased interest in the region’s real estate market.

He said the magazine represents a unique opportunity to showcase the Caribbean property market to potential investors who have significant purchasing power, and to capitalise on the trend of relocating.

“2008 saw the region hit hard by the global economic downturn and a significant drop in property sales and property enquiries. As global markets begin to stabilise, we are seeing an increase in interest in the Caribbean property market, fueled by high net worth individuals seeking to relocate to countries with lower tax rates and a higher quality of living,” Zephirin said.

MerricksThe magazine will showcase property from across the Caribbean and provide individuals high end of the market and property investors with guides to buying property in the Caribbean, spotlights on selected developments and profiles of the various Caribbean islands.

The Publication will be released annually, and it will incorporate engaging articles and investment guides, the magazine will be the ultimate resource for those looking to purchase property in the Caribbean and a magazine to keep for making investment decisions.

This new publication should be a welcomed complement to the already thriving Caribbean real estate sector which already has a number of luxury developments on course for the next two years, also there are already several luxury properties across the region, several real estate website platforms, regional property developers, and even annual country real estate publications.

According to the publisher of the magazine, The Caribbean Property Investor Magazine will have a circulation of 142,700 and readership of approximately 285,000.
