Just a couple months shy of completion Sapphire Beach one of the latest real estate developments on the South Coast of Barbados has reported that the property is now connected to the Barbados Water Authority main supply and the final inspection for the property is just around the corner.
This is a significant milestone for the property which has a end of year completion date.
TerraCaribbean the real estate firm for the development has reported that the plumbing team is completing their work and every apartment will have pressurized water in the near future. According to Terra the final inspection of the building by the Government Electrical Engineer was re‐scheduled for October 31, 2009.
Once the certificate is received and connection is completed the elevators will be operational Block A is now 100% complete with miscellaneous snagging and cleaning wrapping up in the breezeways and fire escape stairs.
The West link Tower is 100% complete Block B is also 100% complete with miscellaneous snagging and cleaning on going in the breezeways and the unsold units.
Meanwhile Block C is 90 per cent complete and all decorated on has been finished.
All units are complete and snagging is ongoing.
Cleaning of the breezeways is in progress and tiling and wall decoration of the fire escape stairs is in progress.
The exposed aggregate driveways and parking is complete for Block A & B and Block C is approximately 50% complete.
Additionally other external work is being worked on with the property boundary wall structure is now complete and decor is 90% finished. Moreover on the beach side landscaping is now near completion with 85% of the work there already done. To the roadside landscaping is 60% complete.
